Tryst has live music Monday-Thursday 8-10pm.
They don't have one on the menu, but they do make a Cuban coffee (secret off-menu item) that is delicious!
7 a.m.
Yes. They have free wifi from Sunday from 7pm until Friday at 7pm.
There is no age restriction, even in the weekends
Interesting place. They have a massive seating area, but if you sit you are expected to order (meaning someone will bring you water and a menu). On the other hand you can grab a coffee and pastry to go. They also have a really nice seating area outside. When I was there around 5pm the place was pretty lively, but not overly crowded.
Great shop, I really liked the decor on the inside. It was a really relaxing vibe in the morning before I had to head to a mental energy heavy conference right around the corner at the Marriot. The staff treated me well as a non-local and the coffee had a great taste with the right amount of kick.
The menu is still appetizing and tasty, and you don't care it's not the full predemic selection. Staff was as friendly as ever, and made us feel comfortable in an evolved scenario for dining out.
Tryst is the perfect stop in Adams Morgan for outdoor dining coffe and breakfast. The coffee is 5 stars - very good. I ordered a Latte with oat milk and it was deelishus!! The Food was just ok but they do have many options on their bakery and Brunch All Day menus. Everything from Croissants, Bagels and waffles to breakfast burritos. The Quiche tasted ok, it does come with a fresh salad which is nice. Prompt, friendly service, nicely decorated restaurant and great use of space for Social Distancing. I highly recommend this place for a coffee!
Place was surpringsly great! Was not sure when we walked in. But food was good, service was good, and even though doors were open it was nice and cool inside. Also i should mention, the fruit cup was amazingly fresh. Its been awhile since Ive had really good fruit at a restaurant.
Adorable cafe in the heart of Adams Morgan. Tons of indoor seating and a decent sized patio as well. Cocktails were good and the food was solid also. Service was friendly and speedy. Great neighborhood vibe.
Food is great. Service is attentive. The Hot Cindy is delicious. Great spot for a quick Saturday or Sunday meal. They also have plenty of board games at your leisure.
Excellent bakery and lovely welcoming staff. The thai chicken soup was amazing. The avocado toast was tasty as well. I highly recommend getting the butter and chocolate croissants and the vegan breakfast bar to go, they are delicious.
Amazing brunch spot! Community seating (big wooden tables)and also couches and smaller tables towards the back. I ordered an Irish coffee, due to the winter weather, and it was exactly as I had hoped. The quiche (broccolini and cheddar) had a rich but flaky crust, and was not overdone. I also ordered the fruit instead of salad and everything was fresh. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito which I also tried and was not disappointed. The service was outstanding and our server was friendly and very helpful!! We will be back for sure!
Honestly one of my worst dining experiences ever. We stood at the front door waiting to be seated and were walked past by 2 different employees, neither of which acknowledged us. When we were finally seated, no one seemed to have any clue who was taking care of us. We ordered nachos which arrived cold, unmelted and tasting so bad that we left to go somewhere else to eat. Will never be going back.
